shari jorge: I've enjoyed reading your blog. Is there a way that I can ask you any questions?

DnS: Hi sekinj. wow, I didn't even see ur msg! How are things going now? I can't believe Chanel is finally, FINALLY getting it.

sekinj: How are things going? My kitty made some mistakes, but seems to be doing well this week. I have to move very slowly with him, so I'm hoping to keep everything the same for another 2 weeks.

DarknStormy: I am decreasing the amount of litter very, very, very, very, very slowly--if u know what I mean ;) They are doing okay so far with less. As the hole gets bigger, there will be less litter anyway

sekinj: How are they doing on less or no litter? I'm not sure how well mine will adjust to no litter.... He likes scraping the little bit into the bowl, and won't go if there is none.

DarknStormy: sorry for the delay in writing. I just saw your messages. :)

DarknStormy: with the sitz bath. I couldn't figure out how to make it more level, but I'm glad u did!
20 Apr 08, 21:06
DarknStormy: i thought about something like that. I might get a plexiglass made to create a half circle like u describe. If I have trouble again after moving to Green, I'll try that. BTW, I had the same problem

sekinj: that may force Chanel to position correctly on the side that is still existing. Sorry for the long messages :P
11 Apr 08, 12:26
sekinj: and idea for you: you may not want to damage your litter kwitter, but instead of making holes in the miffle get bigger and bigger, you may want to cut off one whole side in a fan shape.
11 Apr 08, 12:25
sekinj: so I modifed it to be almost even with the seat like your litter kwitter. He is doing pretty well with that, and I just need to keep getting the hole bigger to push him to the edge.
11 Apr 08, 12:23
sekinj: but he is doing well none the less. I was using the sitz bath up until last week. I realized that he isn't goign to stand on the edge becuase the sitx bath is so far down in the toilet, at least 8in
11 Apr 08, 12:22
sekinj: The biggest problem my kitty has is that he is persian, so is bigged boned and furry. He has problems balancing on the edge because fur grows over his paws and he isn't that coordinated to start with
10 Apr 08, 21:53
DarknStormy: btw, how is your t-training going, sekinj?
10 Apr 08, 21:52
DarknStormy: Thanks for the info on the car seat sekinj! It looks really neat and I would get it if I knew I was keeping my car. Since I'm moving to NYC, I might get rid of my car.
10 Apr 08, 17:55
sekinj: I keep a little car seat for my cat in the front passenger seat. It is by Outward Hound. The kitty loves going for trips in it!! It boosts him up so he can see outside.

sekinj: Hey there! I've been training my kitty since Jan 1st, and have been keeping up with your family the whole time. Just like you, it is taking longer than I first planned, but we're patiently moving on

Veronica: Hi Chanel and Tanya! We got your link from Hello Kitty. You guys look so good using your trays! We are on a very small hole so far. We heard about your bannification from TTr. group, its bad! :(

sam: it is a good description of your pit-falls and successes, this blog should help others like me.

Hartmut: hey, just read a bit further in your blog - quite genius, your attempt to potty-train them! don't rotten-spoil them to snooty dukies though!
