A: The ActiveX prompt appears if your Internet Explorer security level is set too high. To disable the dialog, follow these steps:
- Select Tools -> Internet Options from the menu.
- Choose the Security tab.
- If the Default Level button is not disabled, click it.
- Set the Security level slider to Medium.
If that does not work, or you have set up a Custom Level, click the Custom Level button and ensure that "Run ActiveX controls and plugins" and "Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting" are both set to Enabled.
Cbox uses ActiveX in some versions of IE for refreshing and posting. However your Cbox will function fine without ActiveX if you choose to disable it.
